Life in the brewhouse couldn't be crazier. We are brewing, bottling and sniffing glue like crazy. We have to find some kind of used machine that will apply the glue to the labels if we are going to continue hand labeling for any extended period of time. This is just ridiculous. There will be no brain cells left in the brewhouse if we sniff any more glue. Whoever heard of an organic brewery where the brewers have to breathe in toxic glue fumes?
Jeff Crosslin has joined our ranks, pounding the pavements for tap accounts. He has already secured us a tap at the Shadowbrook. Look for our IPA on tap.
Galen's birthday party was a good time on Saturday night - drinking the BRAND NEW ORGANIC HEFEWEIZEN on the top of Galen's mountain, listening to Jesse jam on the guitar and tell jokes, and trying not to fall off the mountain into the abyss of the redwoods.

Copies of The Celebrator showed up on Tuesday and we were surprised to see a great write-up by Mark Conley, on our brewery and the local beer beat in Santa Cruz. Can you believe it? Santa Cruz is starting to get a reputation as a 'beer town' - who would have thought?
We have a busy weekend. We will be in Avila on Saturday for the California Festival of Beers. Sunday is our 1 Year Anniversary party - plenty of beer and celebration.
