Anniversary Madness

Our 1 year anniversary party re-cap.

I wanted to write something AMAZING about the party - but time escaped me, and now it is more than a week later.

It was fun. It was cool to settle back and look at our accomplishments and the people who have pitched in, believe in us, are curious about us, and love the beer. Plus, The Attic let us put on ALL the beers, the music was insane and the dancing - OVER THE TOP.

An anonymous and incredibly generous person - gave DJ Tim Steele $101 to give to Leah Radach who (along with my dad) DANCED like a rockstar. If anyone out there has any pictures - send them to emily@santacruzmountainbrewing.com - they HAVE to be posted! Kelly cut loose with some breakdancing - even sacrificing her knees and hips to do the worm.

We drank, we danced - everyone felt great... Happy Anniversary SCMB!

POST PARTY -

As we packed up our crap, stood out on the street deliberating where to 'after-party' a gunshot rang out, and a man grabbing the back of his neck came running and yelling into our group. So much for the post party. As cops rolled up, we rolled out and called it a night. I doubt my parents ever imagined that they would be taped in, in a crime scene... :) Santa Cruz is going to HELL.
