Updates at the brewery -
Meet Dan! The new brewer ~
(Dan working on the Organic Stout with his new hoe! )
And Nick got his wire's off!
(I had to hold my breath to get this close.. :)
But he is much happier these days!
This week we get our growlers! Just in time because the stout is ready but will only be available in growlers and kegs. Also, t-shirts are finally printed! For all our loyal customers who have been coming back week after week for the t-shirts - This is the week!
Mammoth Beer Festival and BluesPalooza is this weekend and we will be there! If you are going, it will be great to see you!
Scott and his dad, John, are still holding the record for amazing in-house sales at the brewery. We have had so many comments about how cool and friendly they are. We love these guys!
(working the brewery)
The week before last, I met with Ann Kent of Kent Consulting. What an amazing person! We talked about the business aspects of the brewery and how to grow into the next phase of this adventure while preserving ownership and our sanity. She had tons of great ideas and areas for me to start drilling away at. Time to revisit our business plan and modify it for future dreams and visions.
Next weekend is another Festival - Art and Wine (and a little beer) Under the Oaks! If you are local, stop by and see us.
We have added a few more retailers to the list - Pleasure Point Wine and Spirits and Deluxe Foods in Aptos. The wine/beer buyer at Shopper's said our beer was, 'average,' and he wasn't interested at this time. So I guess for all you folks who have been wanting to get it there, you are out of luck. Sorry about that!
